I need a Shopify developer who can add a Read More javascript to some of my pages

Description of requirements/features: I want to have a "read more" function on the collections pages - so a certain amount of text is displayed and then a user has to click on "read more" in order to see the rest of the text.

I've tried entering a script onto the collection pages (in the text box). It works great but the product images on the collection page don't load - they just have the loading symbol the whole time. I've tried it on different collection pages and the same thing happens.

It would be great if someone could develop this so the "read more" / "read less" function happens by default across all our collection pages.

I'm looking to hire someone today as I don't believe it is a difficult job and it shouldn't take too long.

PS. If we are impressed by your work then there will definitely be repeat business as we have a few things in the pipeline.
