Full-Stack Developer — (React, Express, Prisma, Stripe)

About the project
Existing full-stack e-commerce app (npm workspaces): React + TypeScript + Vite storefront, Express + Prisma API, SQLite today, shared money/payment types, and a merchant admin. It already supports catalog, cart, checkout, mock card payments, inventory decrement, and basic admin analytics. We need a developer to turn this into a deployable production store — not rebuild from scratch.

Stack

Frontend: React 18, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, TanStack Query, Zustand
Backend: Express, Prisma, Zod, JWT auth
DB: SQLite now → Postgres for production
Payments: pluggable PaymentProvider (mock today → Stripe)

What you’ll do

-Integrate Stripe (Payment Intents or Checkout + webhooks); keep the existing payment abstraction where it makes sense
-Build admin product management: create/edit products, inventory, images, publish/unpublish
-Migrate to Postgres, add proper Prisma migrations, and document env vars
-Improve order lifecycle: fulfillment statuses, tracking, confirmation/shipping emails
-Harden for production: auth/session hygiene, rate limiting, validation, error handling, secure config
-Ship a deploy path (Docker and/or Railway/Render/Fly) with a short runbook
-Add focused tests (API + critical checkout E2E) and keep npm install / npm run dev working

Deliverables

-Working Stripe test + live mode flow
-Admin can manage catalog without touching seed scripts
-App runs against Postgres in staging/production
-README updated with setup, env, deploy, and Stripe webhook steps
-PR-quality commits; no unnecessary rewrite of working UI

Requirements

-Strong TypeScript full-stack experience (React + Node/Express)
-Real Stripe integration experience (webhooks required)
-Prisma + Postgres experience
-Can work from an existing codebase and improve it carefully
-Clear English communication; daily Hubstaff time tracking
