We are Google Analytics Certified Partners and the role of Web Analyst is to support the department in using web traffic analysis and business insight to help clients realise the full potential of their sites responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Setting up and configuring Google Analytics for clients
Using web traffic analysis and business insight to help clients realise the full potential of their sites.
Communicating and backing up with evidence recommendations for clients
Developing and applying testing strategies to improve clients conversion rates
Using a range of tools and methods such as video testing and Google Website Optimizer
Writing monthly performance reports
Ad hoc analysis where required
Supporting the remainder of the team in the promotion and development of the department
Assisting with training and development functions

The role requires a specific set of competencies which include but are not limited to:
A fascination for the way people behave and how behaviour can be influenced
A love of digging for data to influence and support the work
A thirst for knowledge that enables the job holder to deliver fresh, innovative and progressive ideas

Key Experience and Knowledge
Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or any analytics package along with:
Cross Domain and sub domain tracking
Event Tracking
Ecommerce Tracking
Custom Variables
Advanced Filters
Experience building and implementing testing strategies such as A/B and multivariate testing
Experience with testing tools such as Google Website Optimizer
Understanding of PPC/SEO and other web marketing technologies
Programming experience would be an advantage but not essential
Understanding of Javascript and HTML and Regex
Numeric, business or psychology degree or equivalent experience
