General information for the website: The “mysql” service failed to start.
Description of requirements/features: tried to restart mysql, i'm getting the following error:
Waiting for “mysql” to start …………
…failed.

The “mysql” service failed to start.
Startup Log
Starting MySQL.. ERROR! The server quit without updating PID file (/var/lib/mysql/{nameoftheserver}.pid).
mysql has failed. Contact your system administrator if the service does not automagically recover.

I tried to action a forceful server reboot, it does not seem to work either!
Need someone to look at this urgently and fix it. Seems to be a process that is locked itself out.
Please review and provide your own bid or ask me any questions you might have to establish what needs to be done.
