Featured Image from URL (FIFU) - does not feed to woocommerce

Featured Image from URL (FIFU) - does not feed to woocommerce - general practice is that I list new products with the url in column Featured Image from URL (FIFU, and post listing, i upload the same file with urls within the image section. some files works fine and the images appearing in product image, but some files doesn't. I need to then manually go to the product setting, make some change, ie add new words in meta, change category etc, and once saved the image appears in product data
