Hi, I am running a small business selling books in Cambridge, UK. I am employing 4 staffs and would like to expand our business. The work involved described below should start as soon as possible and finish in a month or two.
I want to open a website selling academic books. I want to start with the books I have in my warehouse, which are approximately 10000 books. In addition to that, I want dropshipping feature to be available in this website. This means my customers can browse, select and purchase from a more extensive stock.
The basic idea behind this is to have some kind of interface between my website and PubEasy (www.pubeasy.com). PubEasy can be considered as a centralised ordering system where booksellers can order millions of books from different publishers under one roof. Also from PubEasy, a bookseller can get various information such as the availability of the books and the allocated discounts.
The interface between my website and PubEasy website should be seamless. I want all the books available in PubEasy to be available in my website. The quantity of the available books in PubEasy should be shown in my website. The price shown in my website should take into account the discount I receive from the publishers and the postage cost of sending the books. Daily updates on all these should be also available in csv format.
This is only the first stage of this project. The programmer who can help me at this stage will be expected to help me through the rest of the project.
Please submit your proposal and for my consideration you can also send me a mock website with all the features I have mentioned here.
