Web based training matrix

I am looking to try and create a training portal type solution where my clients can input all there employees operatives names addresses etc and upload Certificates as proof of training it would also be able to notify me when training is due for renewal I would also like to be able to print out a matrix type style document.
I would hope that this could be an adaptable solution so that we can grow this and add other solutions as we go.
