Description

Skip Booking / Price Comparison (public facing)
Prospective customers will enter their postcode, select the type of waste, and then be prompted to confirm whether the skip will be placed on a public road or off road (e.g. driveway).
They will then be prompted to select the size of skip required (with visual representation of skip size to aid selection), enter a delivery and collection date.
The price will then be calculated and the best price (from the supplier in their area who can provide a skip to meet their requirements) will be displayed.
Once payment has been made, confirmation will be emailed to the customer. Also, an email will be sent to the skip supplier containing a link for them to click if they are able to supply the skip. If the supplier has not responded after 24 hours, a reminder will be sent with a copy to the main administrator.
When a supplier confirms that they will accept the job, the database will be updated to show this confirmation.
An automated customer satisfaction survey will be sent to the customer a short period after the skip has been collected. We will implement some leading questions in order to gain information about the supply of any further skips.
Supplier Administration area
Once the supplier has been registered and provided with a user name and login password, they will be able to access this area and select the postcode areas covered, select the type of skips they can supply, enter prices nett of your commission per postcode area selected (the prices will be based on 7 day hire).
The supplier will also enter the cost of local authority road permits by postcode.
Within this area, the supplier will be able to view all bookings passed to them.
Main Administrator Area
The administrator will be able to register, manage/edit and add or remove suppliers and other administrators.
The administrator will be able to manage all bookings and assign bookings to other suppliers if the first supplier is unable to accept the booking.
The administrator will be able to generate statistics reports by day, week, month and year.
The administrator will be able to manage the content of the static and other pages and manage any banner advertisements.
The administrator will be able to manage reviews and comments from users i.e. edit, view, delete or publish.
The administrator will be able to take the site off-line.
