PHO MySQL resolving issues with existing site

I am a marketing agent with a client who has a website developed few years ago in PHP with MySql database that appears to have been developed on a shared server with others.

I have acquired the host details, dbase etc from their previous developer with the access details available. Need someone who can sort out the structure, revise CMS (appears to only partially work), add facility to change base costs that are use in a calculator presenting results to the user folowing their input of key parameters.

Later stage will be looking at other sites that share dbase and set up on discrete dbases but not immediate unless more appropriate at this stage.

In addition some chamges needed to site design and a flash movie at front end.

Client had use another developer from other service to carry out work but they seem to have caused problems on site.

Suspect that the task will not be major time requirement as is really a resolving of existing processes but \'famous last words\'.

I have agreed to investigate options and at this stage am seeking outline indicators of potential costs and hourly rates for comparisons. Prefer UK based developer as client had a bad experience with a seperate project.
