I can share my screen on WebEx or Skype. Easiest if we can Skype call on audio.
I did download and run
SUDO PYTHON SETUP.PY INSTALL
Loads of messages, no warning.
But "IMPORT MySQLDB" does not work in Python.
MAC OS X 10.8.4
MYSQL (32bit) is installed on the Mac and is working.
I posted the same request for help on a PC. That has been sorted out. It would be great to use the same functions on both platforms. That uses mysql.connector
