Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
One of my website started to be unresponsive or giving the following error:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/site/public_html/lib/Database.class.php on line 9
MySQL DB error: cannot connect to database.
Site overloads even with small number of visitors online i.e 10.
The mysql database has grown to over 1million rows altogether that must be the problem, I'm looking for someone to provide a solution. Tried optimising tables using phpMyAdmin but that didn't help.
