Hi
I have a business requirement to upgrade / develop our HR system for office staff (<500 users). We have a bespoke seperate technician portal with different requirements but in the future these could merge / integrate. Because of this, and also to reduce different technologies, we have decided to go for a laravel system.
The existing database is built in Microsoft Access and comprises tables, forms, queries. With HR managed centrally and occasionally accessed by other users in the group, the database (on file server) is occasionally locked or corrupted.
The system should give per record views as well as overviews - ability to query, report and bulk administer.
New system must have/be
- PERMISSIONS / ROLE BASED
- ATTENDANCE
Calendar / HR attendance system requires to calculate and process various types of holidays / sickness / time in lieu. Line manager approval automation (either email or system notifications).
- AD SYNC
User logins to be synchronised with our windows Active Directory.
User information eg phone number, email address, job title to be synchronised across into the system. So updating happens in one place and will propogate across to our

- SELF SERVICE
Reduce the HR man hours by allowing end user to update records (with approval and security in place to manage this)
- SECURE
- CENTRALISED EFFICIENT AND INTEGRATED
- MAINTAIN HISTORY

provide system from job offer right through to onboarding, inductions and offboarding
