    Few clarifications:

    1. You have mentioned MYSQL and Microsoft SQL Server. These are 2 different tools for DBMS. Which one you would like to go ahead with ?

    2. How are you intending to use the database after it is implemented?

    3. What are you key data sets and how are they currently stored?

    4. If it's a DB from scratch, will it be a backend for your website??
