Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
I am a nonspecialist who is very PC literate in most normal things, very good at Excel, I can do HTML, video editing, all that stuff, amateur enthusiast level. I organise music events and concerts, and I now want to use MS Access to manage my venues, events, contact lists, and bookings for specific events. I understand the very basic level of MS Access, but I am having trouble setting up the right tables and, crucially, setting up things like auto fill and proper relationships between tables.
I would like somebody who is prepared to have a series of live coaching sessions with me on Zoom and show me how to do this kind of thing. I would envisage probably a two hour kick-off session, and then a series of one-hour sessions over the period of a week or two. I would like to start this either this afternoon or tomorrow (Friday 24th) in the morning.

Are you prepared to make a start by creating the tables: Venue, Event, Contact and Booking in Excel on separate tabs? This need not be more than (say) 5 records in each case. They can then be imported into Access which will determine the data type. If you can then post the Excel workbook with the 4 tabs it will make it much easier to bid.
Philip P.23 Mar 2023Yes sure, good idea, I have done the spreadsheet and if I can post it here I will.
