I need a professional Drawing/Document Register & Issue database template designed

General information for the business: We are a large UK based Mechanical & Electrical Contractor
Database management system (DBMS): Microsoft Access
Description of requirements/functionality: We currently utilize an excel spreadsheet to 1. Log information/drawings that come into the company, the details we need to log are:

Drawing Number - e.g. BVJV(M)-54(L2-01)GL-001
Drawing Title - Level 02 Zone 01 Medical Gas Layout
Revision- C
Status - Construction Issue
Drawing Source - VESL
Date received - 20th June 2014
Additional Information - Approved status B

In addition to logging drawings / documents, we also need to issue them to other parties, so in addition to the above we would also require:

Issued to: This could be many different companies
Date Issued: The date we issued the drawings
Rev Issued: The revision of the drawing issued
Issue Status: Issued for Approval
Specific technologies required: We all utilize Office 2013
Extra notes: Ideally we want a simple Database template that every user can access, that provides a clean front end that lists all the drawings associated with a particular contract with the ability to quickly interrogate each file for its unique history of when we received it and where it went. Also the ability to print out A4 pdfs of issues sheets or schedules, sort the drawings by type/company/status etc. I'm also open to suggestions to make it even better
