Design Supplier and Customer Database Software

As part of our ERP improvement planning, we need to develope two data bases: Supplier database and Customer database in order to better manage our ever-growing number of suppliers, products and customers.
As we haven't got much knowledge on database, so your help will be needed to design these two databases from scratch to suit our company needs.
we need to be able to search, run reports and back up. And we need to have master administrator to set different users with different level of authorities. Will prefer web-based (cloud based) databases.
