AWS Storage Cost Reduction & Cleanup Specialist (One-Time Job)

Description:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to review and optimise our existing AWS account. Our current usage is very light (mainly Word & Excel document storage, under 1TB), yet our monthly AWS bills are unexpectedly high. We need an expert to analyse our setup, identify unnecessary costs, configure the correct storage tier, and clean up unwanted files or unused services.

Scope of Work:

✔ Review our current AWS services (S3, EBS, backups, snapshots, etc.)
✔ Identify what is causing the high monthly charges
✔ Recommend and apply the most cost-efficient AWS storage solutions (e.g., S3 Standard/IA/Glacier)
✔ Delete unnecessary data, old snapshots, unused resources
✔ Configure lifecycle policies for automatic archival
✔ Provide a short report on what was done + monthly saving estimate
✔ One-time job (not ongoing)

Requirements:

– Strong AWS Cloud experience (S3, EBS, IAM, Billing Dashboard, Trusted Advisor)
– Proven track record reducing AWS bills
– Ability to work safely via IAM temporary access, screen share or limited-role access
– Must maintain confidentiality of our data
– Available for immediate start
