UK-based Market Research Analyst

Overview: Looking for an experienced market research analyst to provide statistical support on ad hoc projects of varying complexity.

Details

I run a growing research consultancy working with clients in the private, public and academic sectors all over the world. I am looking for an ambitious individual to join my existing team of associates to assist with quantitative research. This may involve charting data up in Excel, coding open text comments, running regression or segmentation models, scripting surveys and building presentations.

Essential skills

Expert knowledge of SPSS/XLSTAT
Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
Ability to run crosstabulation tables including significance testing
Ability to run statistically valid regression and segmentation models
Ability to explain findings to non-statisticians and tell a story with the data
Flexibility and fast turnaround times
Good eye for detail
Excellent presentation design skills using professional and innovative charting
Must be a full time freelancer

Desirable

Knowledge of text analytics packages e.g. Clarabridge/SPSS/Wordle
Knowledge of scripting surveys in online survey packages like Survey Monkey and Survey Gizmo
Willingness to be involved non-quant projects e.g. depth interviewing over the phone
Previous use of infographics
