Physical modelling of surface properties of materials

Dear all, I need help in designing a test on Matlab that simulate the mechanical properties of surfaces of materials. I want the test to be on a specific surface material, wood, aluminum alloys, or polymers.

The report must include a theory, calculations, graphs, and a lot of pictures that relate to the simulation itself. in this test I must observe the behavior of the surface of the material UNDER A SPECIFIC LOAD OR FORCE. the mechanical properties must include toughness, elasticity, malleability, ductility, brittleness, compressive strenght.
