Need an Excel Formula

I need a formula to do the following
Vlookup upon a master workbook from a separate workbook with multi tabs
The tabs are created daily and has a tab name of the date e.g. 1.1.21
This value is input an the master workbook as the date eg. 1.1.21in a cell (at the top of a column)
I want the formula to look at the cell with the date e.g. 1.1.21 on the master workkbook and then look up to a separate workbook, find the tab with the matching value and perform the look up
I am using the following formula to do this on the master workbook (with multi tabs) but can find a formula to do this for a separate workbook with Multi tabs.
=IFERROR(VLOOKUP($A4,INDIRECT("'"&AB$3&"'!"&"$A:$G"),5,F
Will also need any missing data to show as 0
