Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I need a spreadsheets specialist/statistician to create a bad-debt XIRR calculator for interest-only loan investments (preferably in Google Sheets but Excel is also fine).
The calculator will work out the annualised bad debt on the loans. This calculator is not going to be used to calculate positive returns (e.g. not to calculate the annualised interest earned).
Users of this spreadsheet need to be able to copy-and-paste lists of at least 5,000 transactions into it. (More if it's not technically difficult.) Users might need to be able to copy in lists of the loan amounts and loan start dates, the repayment dates and amounts, and the written-off (bad debt) amounts and write-off dates.
The data will not always be correct up to the date of entry, so users also need to be able to specify what the end date is of the calculation.
