Wordpress IE optimisation and PPC

My blog; http://www.gentlemensluncheonclub.com/ does not display correctly in IE, so I need to retain the display in Fire Fox, Chrome and correct the display from IE8+ (it may have something to do with the map-image I've added to the home page, thus I'd be interested in making this an actual Word Press container as opposed to an image I've pasted in).

Also, I'm struggling to get Google PPC advertising to display on the site. I've installed a plug-in, set up the account with Google etc, but can't get it to display.
