General information for the website: Our website has been set up by volunteers and as we enter a new phase in our development we need the site to look more interactive and professional.

Extra notes: We're looking for someone with excellent web design skills for ad hoc support updating our website. We're a small educational charity in Leicestershire. The website is currently a Wordpress site but is likely to be overhauled later this year. We can update text and the blog but we're looking for help with making the site look professional, adding banners, logos and the bells and whistles that make web visitors keep coming back for more. We'd like to hear from web designers who have oodles of experience using Wordpress and can show examples of their work on existing sites. We have an archive with 400 years' worth of materials and we'd like the website to offer some interactive aspects to promote and share the archive.

Our ideal candidate will be based in Leicestershire or the East Midlands and will have a knowledge of the local heritage, education, and charity sectors.
