Description
Experience Level: Entry
General information for the website: https://www.staging2.tanstore.no
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: Looking for an experienced developer who can solve this issue:
I have a country selector plugin installed to change to SEK, but at the same time, taxes will be removed (As I also have a plugin on) with the same button.
Taxes are removed when you ship to Sweden, but only in checkout, not in the online store
Than, I want the country selector to have a flag instead of a dropdown menu.
I have Klarna Checkout, which requires that purchase_countryto be defined before the actual checkout. I have a plugin that removes VAT and changes to SEK, but not purchase_country, which means that the online store is locked to Norway.
GeoIP does not work either for Klarna or for the plugin, so I am assuming there's something wrong in a place.
So, to sum up:
This is the website url for the staging store: https://www.staging2.tanstore.no
The plug-in currently in the header removes taxes and ends the krone exchange rate to SEK, which is a requirement from the customer. What is desired is that this automatically goes to the correct country based on GeoIP, and that when one manually selects country, change currency + tax rules, + Klarna Checkout goes to the correct country. To date, GeoIP does not appear to work either on the plugin or online store. When you have a plugin activated with NOK, the Klarna checkout is locked to the Norwegian version.
The customer was pleased with the location on the plugin (which is a widget) but wanted 2 flag instead of the dropdown menu.
I will provide the login for ftp and woocommerce to the staging store.
Specific technologies required: Klarna, Woocommerce, PHP
Extra notes:
