Hi I have a wordpress website using WooCommerce. For SEO purposes, I want to remove the URL slug base of “product” AND “product-category”.
My current developer said we can remove “product” OR “product-category”, but he can’t remove both. So that means he can remove post type OR taxonomy, but not both. The product is the post type and the product category is a taxonomy.
It needs to redirect them to the new url. So the old product base url and category base url can be found on the new url automatically.
