    Hi Gary,

    You can't upgrade from 1.6 to 3.6, the way joomla works now and the tech involved is so different that you will open your website to a wide range of problems.

    Such upgrade needs to go thru an evaluation in order to properly assess what needs to be done, and how.

    Can we have a quick chat?

    To be clear, ita a fact that a direct upgrade will become a disaster, do allow anyone to do it.
