Description
Experience Level: Expert
Let's focus on JUST ONE page : https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/925/contessa-yachts/
This is an example of an AWPCP Category page with a nice description about Contessa Yachts that is being labelled as a SOFT 404 by Google. SOFT 404 means that Google does not think the page has any unique content - when we can clearly see it does. Google thinks it is basically just a "nothing" page - which is wrong.
The reason Google thinks this is because, for some reason that I hope you can find out, the AWPCP Category Description is NOT being "seen" by Google - nor can I see it in the output page's "source code" : view-source:https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/925/contessa-yachts/
You can see this yourself in the attached screengrabs - try it yourself.
If you can get this VISIBLE in source code - I am confident Google BOT will also see it and INDEX it accordingly.
All of this can be done on the STAGING area.
If we can focus on this page : https://staging3.dinghymart.co.uk/class/925/contessa-yachts/ it will make it easier for the both of us.
A few things to remember, check and be aware of
I have tried several PRELOADING Caching plugins - but none of them work. Maybe there is one I am not aware of - but I tried 6!
Remember NOT to defer JS - or you won't be able to add a new listing here : https://staging3.dinghymart.co.uk/class/sell-a-boat/
I also hope the PAGESPEED does not get affected - maybe you could do a BEFORE and AFTER using : https://pagespeed.web.dev/
It is also VITAL that the current meta TITLE, meta DESCRIPTION and CANONICAL remain as they are (screengrabs attached). This was all part of your original work on the AWPCP Category Descriptions
Good luck
Tristan
