Joomla - remove images not linked to database listings.

I have looked for script/extension to clean up the images stored on my website.

I have thousands of property listings, but some listings are removed (leaving behind the images) so I wish to clear up space and remove those images not longer required for deleted listings.

I think it needs some form of script to search the folder of images and the database and match those that exist
for example
DB IMG found = "sc_15828021687751_1020491_04.jpg" FOLDER IMG "sc_15828021687751_1020491_04.jpg"

DB IMG NOT found = "sc_15828021687751_1020491_04.jpg" FOLDER IMG "sc_15828021687751_1020491_04.jpg" then I would delete that image .
