Improve my wordpress site

I need to merge some of my old site content and upgrade my existing site which was meant as a small stand alone, but now needs to be my main online presence.

I have just closed an expensive all singing all dancing site, so don't need huge bells and whistles.Just need someone who can implement standard wordpress plugins and change the theme on my site.

Would prefer UK based developer so we are on the same time zone and communicate easily.
