I need help installing a shades category to my product pages on Wordpress

Description of requirements/features: I need help with installing a visual shades/colour category on the product pages of my website. Currently, I only have a drop-down with a list of the different shades, however I would like to change this to include images of the shades instead. I have attached an image of what the product page currently looks like.

Ideally I want it to be something similar to this page (click the 'Product Info' link for pop up box to appear):

It doesn't have to be a pop up box, although it would be great if these could appear just below the description. I'm also open to ideas and suggestions on this.
