I need a few small jobs doing on my wordpress portfolio

General information for the website: personal portfolio
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: Here are the jobs I need.

1. In CV - The bullet points are ticks for some reason. I want to change these tick things to dashes or small bullet points. - image attached)

2. in Blog - I want to have the blogs on the page condensed with a small image so you have to click into the blog to read. I've attached an example from a travel blog.

3. The images a bit big and are pixelated (as you can see from the attachment) I want to reduce the size of the images across the whole portfolio but they need to be big enough to read easily and the quality must be there, but I need them to load fast so I don't want the size to be massive. The size at the moment is about 850 x 1240. example attached.
