Hi, need help whit my wordpress blog/site

I have a wordpress site/blog that´s about financial education, but i´m problems whit the design, i cant put imagens ate the right size, the titles and subtitles are not in place. And i can put publicity on the blog, and i can put the newsletter working. Al só can put another menu for news. :(
I have a base plane not the pro what can you do too help my.
