Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Using the plugin with a Custom Post Type "Events"
Description of requirements/features: I am building a website with a Custom Post Type, "Events". I would like to use the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Plugin to provide custom fields for this post type, 2 of which will be ACF Date Picker Fields - for a start date and end date of each event/post.
I am needing to show a select/drop down menu, to the front end/website user, of all of the dates for which their is a post entered. This would include the start dates, end dates, and any dates in between. And not include duplicate dates.
The end goal being that a clicked date, in the select/drop down menu, would load any posts with that date attached to them.
For example:
EVENT POST 1
- starts: Thursday, May 22
- ends: Sunday, May 25
EVENT POST 2
- starts: Friday, May 23
- ends: Sunday, May 25
EVENT POST 3
- starts: Sunday, May 25
- ends: Monday, May 26
...The select/drop down menu would show:
- Thursday, May 22
- Friday, May 23
- Saturday, May 24
- Sunday, May 25
- Monday, May 26
...and if Saturday, May 23 was clicked, in the select/drop down menu, the page loaded will show the title and details of:
- EVENT POST 1
- EVENT POST 2
