Feature needed to an existing Drupal 8 site

Hi,

Before I describe the project I would like to let you know I will not provide any of my existing web files. I will provide you with the fields that I am using and then you will have to replicate it in a new drupal site.

The scope of this project is to do schedule updates to my events created so once the event has finished the paragraph fields should change its values via cron.

The following modules which I am using are Paragraphs, Link attributes.

I have a content type called Event with the following fields:

Label: Event Date, machine name: field_event_date, field type: Date Range.
Label: Paragraph Reference, machine name: field_paragraph_reference, field type: Entity reference.

I have a paragraph type called - Page header. and in that the following fields:

Label: cta, machine name: field_cta, field type: link (but make sure in manage form display you change it to link with attributes and activate the class and dataoverlay.

So once the paragraph type has been created this will be referenced in the event content type.

Now when the event has past its end date I would like to change the field cta values and this needs to be done via cron.
