Evaluate and upload a couple of updates on wordpress

I have a new Wordpress site, not ready in my opinion, but need someone to evaluate and offer their expertise as to what it will need before I start with the process of adding articles and pages and more related affiliate offers.
1. Need the new revised re-edited e-book uploaded and my new About Me uploaded to the site.
2. Need the once-over of what is needed, will it need a video? pages? Can anyone tweak my pic to look a bit better than that LOL (may be no hope there). The layout...what kind of pages would be recommended.

That is basically what it needs; the evaluation and the upload of e-book and About Me page.
