A CMS for securely hosting Mathematics videos for UK GCSE Maths
Aim: To create an online product to aid the teaching and learning of the UK
Mathematics ( The course is called GCSE 9-1).
Market: UK Secondary Schools and also individual students
USP: The vast no. of videos and the depth of explanations. Solutions are not
handwritten so the presentation is superior to handwritten solutions in most cases.
The clue videos provide some guided help to the students without simply giving them
the solution.
The below is written from the perspective as a School Teacher Profile dashboard ( A
student or individual would be a reduced version of this I envisage ( i.e. less
functionality )
User experience: I would obviously like the experience to be seamless with little
delay when the database is being searched, as they navigate the different tabs /
buttons and that the videos load asap etc. For a school classroom environment in
particular, this is crucial to whether it is viable as a product or not.
