General information for the website: Standard e-commerce website based on Drupal Commerce Kickstart
Description of requirements/features: This project is for the development of a Drupal Commerce e-commerce site and related features for a new and small UK business.
Design, general look and feel stuff and standard web site features (outside of e-commerce functions) will be handled by myself. You will be responsible for the e-commerce features.
I’ll set-up the server and staging area for development and testing. SSH and/or FTP access available to the server and it also has bzr and git for version control.
My initial thinking is to start with a Commerce Kickstart install + default theme and build on top of that. Note, I’ll be maintaining the install so any modifications must be done in a way that the installation can easily be updated in the normal “Drupal” way. I.e. anything custom that I can break to easily must be added to a module or added in a way that the installation can be upgraded normally without breaking features. Only security upgrades will be applied once going live so updates should be minimal.
The milestones and related dates are suggestions at present. If you need more time, or have any suggestions in terms of milestones and time-frame, please let me know.
Communication (being kept up-to-date and speedy replies to queries) and adherence to deadlines and tasks once committed to are all critically important to me.
