Develop wordpress site

I currently have hundreds of powerpoint presentations and PDF’s stored in various places (such as external drives). I want to upload these files to a specific website, so that others I invite can view them. By ‘view’ I mean that they are can read through the presentations & PDF's on screen without downloading them - similar to slideshare.com



My initial thought is that I use a simply wordpress theme

• The site should be have a login, so that only those I want can access the content.
• I want to be able to deselect google search engines from finding the site / content (optional)
• I don't want to allow visitors to make comments
• I want to be able to specify which content users can download or not. If this isn’t possible then the default should be that users can't download items

• The site will need a good filter / category system, e.g.
o Author [open]
o Category [defined]
o Sub category [defined]
o Topic [defined]
o Sub Topic [defined]
o Date of presentation [open]
o Date uploaded [open]
o Tags
o Open search (?)

• Ideally the site will have a way to recommend other presentations, based on what the viewer is reading (optional)
• Ideally I’d like some way to upload multiple items simultaneously (optional)
• Ideally I’d like the ability to have an option for displaying the name of the content in list format
• I don't need any payment systems
• I will need an email address for the site
it doesn't need a lot of creative design
Users will be viewing on desktops, not mobile

Your help
Basically I have no I.T skills at all – so I would want you to
• Set up the url
• Set up hosting
• Purchase the wordpress theme (if this is the route chosen)
• Set up the wordpress theme & design
• Add the necessary plugins
• Set up the filtering categories etc
• Set up the logins
• (I’m not asking you to upload any of the content!)



I'd be very grateful if you could let me know if you're interested (I appreciate it's a very small, quick project) and a approximate initial estimate.
