We are looking for Sensory & Product Guidance Technologist to work on a 4 months contract in Worksop.

What is the project?
Become a member of the S&PG department that co-manages the Competitor Quality Benchmarking (CQB) programme for business units.
As a S&PG Technologist you will have a full responsibility to co-ordinate multiple waves of external CQB studies and report findings to key business stakeholders (NPD, Marketing, Insights).
Core accountabilities:
• Co-ordinate CQB activities across research suppliers whilst getting alignment from key stakeholders (NPD / Marketing)
• Responsible to create Preparation Protocols and Questionnaire Matrix for CQB studies
• Audit consumer fieldwork at test locations
• Review data analysis and reports from research agencies and present CQB results to key stakeholders
• Fully manage EPT studies and analyse raw data to create EPT reports with business focussed conclusions and recommendations
• Leverage Premier Sensory Group CRIB Best Practices across external agencies, EPT leaders, and junior NPD staff
• Support development of S&PG CRIB Assistant by supervising tasks allocated
• Provide auxiliary support to Group S&PG Manager for ad-hoc external research projects.
• Provide day-day guidance and technical support to NPD / Site Technical teams on Sensory and CQB related queries
• Promote S&PG capabilities through networking with NPD / Marketing / Insights teams
• Identify own training needs and with manager agree a time plan for achieving this
Essential skills required for the role:
- Experience within a similar role - Technical function within the food industry
- Awareness of Sensory & Consumer Science and it’s utilisation in the FMCG sector
- BSc in Food Science or Food Technology or related subject
