Technical / Project Manager

We're a new application development company focusing on two areas: mobile apps mainly for iPhone & certain web app niches.

The founder/CEO needs a reliable project manager initially working part time on a consultancy basis.

We have a distributed team model whereby multiple developers & designers work independently on apps. You must coordinate this.

Even though you won't be coding yourself, you must also act as CTO type consultant - thus doing things like basic code checking, app testing, hosting setup/maintenance, backup, security etc. In particular will look favorably if you can show any knowledge of:

- PHP
- CSV
- XML
- iPhone dev
- Remote data scraping
- Google spreadsheets
- Server architecture & data security

You will work remotely from your own office and will manage projects via standard tools such as Google Docs & Basecamp or Jira (advise your experience with this or similar project management apps).

Really good opportunity in exciting new startup, to own hours but can grow in role as more apps released over time.
