Technical author /illustrator Agricultural machinery

Interested in bids from technical author / illustrator's with experience in Agricultural machinery to prepare technical instruction manuals for agricultural crop sprayers manufactured by our company.

We have manual template and use solidworks CAD package for technical drawings so all components modelled in 3D. Require manuals prepared to conform to international standards for agricultural machinery e.g. ISO3600 but we are able to supply all information on these requirements. Manual should cover description of product, purpose, specification, preparation for use, essential health and safety, method of use, cleaning, maintenance and servicing , fault finding chart, general assembly drawings and parts list.GA's and parts list can be provided along with drawings but CAD 3D line drawings may need modification in illustrator or similar to improve clarity. Initial requirement is for completion of two technical manuals for 3m and 6m tractor implement/sprayer with the prospect of further on going work. You will liase with technical development team who can provide assistance with drawings or copy proofing. Interested freelance technical authors should submit details of experience, examples of previous work and daily or weekly charge rate. Anticipate minimum 3 months work for the right candidate with prospect of on going work to assist our company in updating technical manuals for existing and new products.
