Description
Experience Level: Expert
write a stored procedure to log successful logins into a directory on IIS server protected by Authentix authentication software
We have a directory sitting on a Microsoft-IIS/6.0 server that is password protected by a program called Authentix (http://www.flicks.com/flicks/authx.htm). Currently we are using a custom SQL statement to authenticate users based on usernames/passwords in an MS access database. Authentix gives us the option of creating a simple SQL statement to retrieve valid users. We need the following:
1. Help creating a custom stored procedure to log successful login attempts (see http://www.flicks.com/technicalsupport/advanced_odbc_select_statement.asp)
2. We also need help creating a custom SQL statement that will authenticate users based on if the customer is international (this field exists in the database), and if they are international, they have the appropriate licensing (this field also exists in the database) and be 'authorized' in the database. If the customer is not international, they simply need to be 'authorized' in the database.
If you can provide assistance please let me know.
