Overview:
The dashboard is a page that clients, and potential clients, look at to understand how successful their advertising with us is.
Clients – paid advertising: Clients use this page to see how many people are viewing their ad, how many people we are sending to their website etc. This is a measure of our success.
Potential clients – people who currently have a free listing with us. We show them top level stats so that they can understand how successful their page could be. We also need to show them how much more information they could get if they were a registered customer.
Site users – they also look at these pages to understand authority and how popular this supplier is (i.e. if I am searching for wire wool, sometimes I like to see how many other people have already viewed this page).

1. Essentially, we feel that there are 2 different routes that the creative could take and we have therefore mocked up 2 sets of wireframes:
a. We have all of the information on one page, in a tabbed (or other) approach that lets a user scroll through the different graphs all within one page. i.e. select the ‘page views’ tab and view this graph, select the ‘visits’ tab and the view that graph. Therefore many views, but only one page.
b. The second route would be to show several mini graphs on one page, with click throughs that then take you to the enlarged graphs on separate pages.
Other notes:
- Only page views is available to everyone, the other 3 metrics are only available to registered users
- Graphs can be shown vertically or horizontally
- the design must be capable of expanding or contracting without sacrificing the design
- the ABC logo is not required within this page, as it’s top right of every page in the header anyway
- we will write code that ensures that the axis are always correct
