SQL Server Administrator

Overview:
Requirement for an SQL Administrator to create a database structure for the storing and querying of Service Maintenance and Repair (SMR) costs for the automotive industry.

The data is currently held in Spreadsheet format and we require the creation and population of a new database structure based on the migration of this existing data to drive a frontend BI suite.

We will require the creation of OLAP cubes to drive the afore mentioned BI suite.

This will initially be a short term contract, with the likelihood of further projects in the future for the right candidate.

Requirements:
• Experience of SQL and SQL Server (Inner/Outer joins, structure creation, querying, data migration).

• Experience of building OLAP cubes with the understanding of integration into BI suites.

• Some experience of BI Suites (Jasper Server for example).

• Provide concise and accurate documentation of work done.

• Ability to offer training in the new structure.

• Offer a clean and quick handover of system for in-house maintenance.
