Spreadsheet for expenses

Hi,
I am a football referee and need to keep note of all the football matches and fees I am paid plus travel costs and equipment and courses I buy/go on. I need to do it season by season.

Hopefully this should not be to complicated but I'm not great at excel. If there could be a summary screen do I could have a quick glance to show if I am in profit or not and how much frees I have bee paid and how much I have spent on equipment and how much I have had to pay HMRC though tax on my earnings though self-employment etc
