Splash screen and icons for Mobile application for Google Play

I need a splash screen and application icons for a new mobile application to work with Google play,

I will describe the purpose of the application but I need someone who understands what size / resolutions of icons would be need to be on Google Play.

The ideas around the designs are open, we might need a few rounds to preview and agree on it before we do all the images for real.



The application icon must be available for
1. 48x48px
2. 72x72px
3. 96x96px

for Google Play we need app icon for following sizes as well.
4. 512x512px
5. 1024x768px
6. 180x120px

Support for image resolution depends for mobiles but also 7" tablets or 10" tablets.

All images must in .PNG format. And, the latest recommendation by Google is to use nine patch images(.9.png).
