Sound Engineer

I record interviews on skype of 20-30 mins, which need cleaning up and adding music to. This just means taking out the silences, coughs and 'ums and errs' so both parties sound good. it also means enhancing the sound quality if needed so the interviews sound really good.

I have two music files which need adding to the front and the end to make them sound professional. These will be faded out and in.

It takes me no more than one hour to do each one, and I'm not a sound technician. I use soundforge pro to do it.

I upload the raw wav or mp3 files to a dropbox folder. Once completed, the finished file is put back intro dropbox or if the freelancer is clever enough, uploaded straight onto my website.

A good English speaker is needed to ensure the interview questions and answers make sense and flow properly.

If you'd like to do this, put down the minimum deposit and if there's a good fit, I'll give you a raw interview to try and see how you do. I will probably choose a few people to try out and see how the working relationship goes and how good the quality of work.

Freelancers may want to equally 'try me out' to check it's a good fit for them.

I've got about ten of these that need editing at this time, and am adding a few more each month. So it will be an ongoing relationship for the right person.

The ideal freelancer would have some writing skills too, as one of the jobs I have to do is create content from the interview to make people want to listen to it. Obviously there would be extra time involved in that.

But this writing element is not essential, just desirable.
