Someone who understands SEO in the UK

I guess you get what you pay for, on page 1 of google.co.uk one week and then back to page 2, then bottom of page 1, then down to page 3, ranking is going up and down.

Would be good if someone can get a couple of high traffic keywords on page 1 to increase clients and then it should be all good once we get the initial batch of clients to work with as we will instantly be into profit for the month and then we can increase the SEO budget.

I can give you the URL of the website if you contact me, but there can be no changes to the website, not even putting text on the home page footer and changing it to a different colour so it can hardly been seen (someone advised to do this).
