i am sending you a lil bit details of my project. My project is regarding the best introductory approach for students to understand ontologies and the semantic web.. Accordingly, have attached a comprehensive introductory semantic web book called “A Semantic Web Premier” provided by one of my professor, you can have a look if you want to. The book includes all the topics necessary for understanding ontolgies and the semantic web. The students can either read the book or use the heading as guidelines to find other resources related to the different topics in the book. Below is a link to the PowerPoint presentations associated with the book. This is for the theoretical part. (http://www.ics.forth.gr/isl/swprimer/presentation.htm)

For the practical part that i need from you has to use java language and must use OWL ontologies and protege 4 software. i have attached a document “A Practical Guide To Building OWL Ontologies With The Protégé-OWL Plugin” (Please find link below) which takes them step by step through implementing an ontology using protégé.

Hope you find this useful…

my main topic is\"Applying Semantic Web Technologies in Education \"
The aim of this work is to develop a web application based on Semantic Web technologies where selected problems for a particular teaching topic are published. These are taken from past papers, are tagged and indexed in such a way that it would be easier for the teacher and student alike to search using an electronic system such as the Web, instead of going through piles of paper looking for particular problems.

Please update me with your valuable feedback and reply as early as possible that will you be able to do this project or not.… :)

Kind regards,
