My name is Andy Stosik. I run a small Driving School in the UK and operate around East, North London and in part of Essex. My main advertising tool is the school website. The services I offer "type of courses, pricing etc."
Apart from the driving lessons which I offer I would like to expand my business and also provide other service such as booking driving test cancellations.
I will explain what I mean by this.
In UK there is around 1750000 practical driving test taken conducted by Driving Standard Agency Examiners per year.
The National Pass rate is around 40% , There are only around 2500 Examiners in a whole country and a single person can conduct between 7 to 9 test a day.
That is why waiting time to get test appointment is long it depends on a test centre and is from 6-7 weeks up to 15-16 weeks.
Around 60% people don't pass and will have to rebook a test. Great majority of them doesn't want to wait such a long time an would like to book it asap.
At the same time people who are taking their lessons and have booked their driving test appointment, will find out that, that are not ready with their driving standard and wont be able to pass. In order to not to loose their fee inevitably they will cancel their appointment. This date again will be available on official DSA website, However due such a great demand on such a "cancellation appointments". They disapear from the website within a seconds.
Manual checking for cancellation dates is very time consuming. That is where software would do the job Automated system which scans the DSA website constantly every 5 or 10 minutes does a job and immiedately reserves the date for 15 minutes where customer can be contacted and the booking can be finished within the time.
